The first midterm exam of the 2014 spring
semester will cover these chapters: Europeans Explore the East, China Limits European Contacts, Japan Returns to Isolation, Spain Builds an American Empire, European Nations Settle North America,
The Atlantic Slave Trade, and
The
Columbian Exchange and Global Trade.
You'll need to read the self-reading handout Impact of Exploration and be prepared for a quiz on Friday.
As always, come to class with all reading material highlighted and notes taken.
You'll need to begin working on your vocabulary worksheets.
